Vegan Celebration Afternoon Tea Menu

Commencing with this savoury platter and followed by the service of the 5-tiered Vegan Traditional Afternoon Tea Stand:

Quinoa and Haricot rouge patty, red cabbage ketchup and iceberg lettuce nestled in a beetroot bun

~

Lightly spiced sweet potato velouté, fresh coriander and finished with spicy cashew nuts

~

Panko breadcrumbed potato cake flavoured with vegan ‘cheese’ and tarragon, topped with a tomato and scotch bonnet jam

~

The vegan traditional afternoon tea, which is included, consists of:

Cauliflower, potato and red pepper curry, laced with coconut milk and accompanied by a mini coriander and garlic naan bread

Crispy filo pastry spring roll, filled with sticky sesame carrots and beansprouts, drizzled with a sweet and sour sauce

Salad of peppery watercress, new potato and Lapsang souchong marinated ribbons of carrot, dressed in a lemon verbena and mustard vinaigrette

Baba Ganoush topped red pepper and paprika blini, finished with crispy chickpeas

Wild mushroom, thyme and red wine puff pastry parcel, glazed with a gel of shallot and red wine

Red velvet scones, vanilla vegan ‘cream’ cheese frosting with a strawberry and rose water conserve

~

Carrot cake scones, cinnamon cream cheese frosting and strawberry conserve

~

Woburn Coffee House Millionaires Shortbread – shortbread, date and tonka bean caramel finished with a layer of chocolate

French fancy – Layers of lemon sponge and violet vegan ‘buttercream’, encased in a fondant glaze

Baked cookie dough, whipped vegan ‘cream’ and blue berries

Sweet potato and pecan brownie, topped with white chocolate and cashew ganache and candied pecan

Banoffee shot – Walnut and date crumb topped with a vegan caramel, whipped banana vegan ‘cream’ and caramelised banana with beetroot honeycomb coated in chocolate

~

Woburn Coffee House Rocky Road: tonka bean marshmallow with fudge oat biscuit

All served with a large pot of tea of choice
